TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Cancellation/ Refund Policy: Our cancellation policy is the following: -Full refund if cancelled 3 days prior to pick-up date -50% refund of deposit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to pick-up date -No refund of deposit will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to start of reservation. To cancel a reservation, please email us or call our store during business hours. Any order that is not picked up and was not cancelled before close of business on the reservation date, will result in no refund. Cancellation fees are charged since item(s) have been held, cleaned, and prepared for the rental order. These fees help recuperate the labor and potential lost rentals for holding the equipment.
* Exceptions – Management reserves the right to make exceptions or allowances to payment and cancellation policies on a case-by-case basis as deemed necessary.
Pick Up/Drop Off: I agree to pick up and drop off at least 30 min before the closing times.
Fuel Charge- Excavator is rented out full of diesel full and is to be returned full also. If it is not returned full the card used for purchase will be charged for the number of gallons required to return the tank to full. Diesel is sold at the rate of $6.00 per gallon. Stihl equipment is rented full of premix fuel and includes 1 gallon tank of premix fuel. Only use Stihl brand premix fuel in Stihl equipment. STIHL MotoMix Ethanol-Free 2-Cycle 50:1 Pre-Mixed Fuel 1 gallon is provided and charged on return for the quantity used. 1 full gallon is sold for $40.00. If ½ gallon is used charge is $20.00, ¼ gallon is $10. If 1/8-gallon is used the charge is $5.00.
Milwaukee M18 Equipment- Milwaukee M18 battery powered equipment rentals include two M18 XC5.0 Lithium batteries and charger.
Reservation Policies: Any customer can receive a rental quote. A quote is valid for 14 days from the date of issue. A quote Does NOT hold or reserve any equipment or time slots. Customers must sign Terms and Conditions and pay the associated down payment to confirm the items and create a rental agreement (Reservation) between the customer and Redwood Rentals LLC. All Customers must initial all contract entries and/or agree via electronic signature. By doing so the customer agrees to be bound by the policies and fees associated with the rental order, damages, lost rentals, and replacement costs.
Definition of Terms:
Quote– A price quote only, no items or times on hold, items are not guaranteed available until reservations are made and confirmed.
Reservation- Rental agreement between customer and Redwood Rentals LLC is signed and deposit is paid.
Order– A Reservation is converted to an Order on the day of pickup.
Invoice– Order becomes an invoice when the item is picked up. Invoices are due and payable upon receipt.
Additional Fees: The rental agreement fees charged are for “Normal Condition” setups. Additional fees may be charged if the delivery area is not easily accessible and takes additional time to complete the delivery. Charges are applied on a case-by-case basis. Situations that may result in additional fees include but are not limited to the required use of transport over rough terrain and/or rock scaping, and setup locations that are greater than 100 feet from where the delivery vehicle can legally and safely park. Cleaning fees are charged at $50.00 per hour. Equipment is to be cleaned to the same condition it was rented out at.
Privacy Policy: Redwood Rentals LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We may collect personally identifiable data when you visit our website. Data may include browser information, IP addresses, cookie information, and the page(s) visited during your visit. Redwood rentals LLC will not sell, distribute, or in any way compromise the integrity of the data collected. Data collected will only be used for internal purposes which may include modifications to website performance, production and distribution of promotional materials, and overall review of visitors' interests.
Liability: I accept full fiscal responsibility for the equipment I have rented. I promise to return it clean, dry, and undamaged by the agreed date and time. If I fail to do so, I will pay for its repair, cleaning, drying, or replacement at the full retail rate, as determined by Redwood Rentals LLC. If the items are returned late, I agree to pay for the additional days at the 1-day rate per day late. I understand that there are inherent, and other, risks involved in the activities for which this equipment is to be used. I freely assume those risks including the risk of severe injury or death. I except for use as is the equipment listed on this form and accept full responsibility for the care of the equipment. I will be responsible for the replacement at full retail value of any equipment rented under this agreement but not returned to Redwood Rentals LLC and will reimburse Redwood Rentals LLC for any loss or damage other than reasonable wear and tear. I will return all rental equipment by the agreed date in clean condition to avoid any additional charges. I agree that it is my responsibility to know how to use and operate the equipment and obtain necessary instruction properly and safely. I understand the function of, and I will not misuse or abuse, the equipment. I am legally competent to sign this agreement and am 18 years of age or older. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RENTAL AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY IS A BINDING CONTRACT AND I AGREE TO IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
